Our Welcome and Parishioner Outreach ministry is an initiative created to ensure parishioners are provided with an opportunity to be personally contacted by our ministry team. The ministry reaches out to those who have recently registered as well as parishioners who have been part of the parish for many years. 

Ministry Mission

The ministry team reaches out to parishioners so they may personally experience a faith community that cares about them as individuals. Team members through email and phone calls provide opportunities to answer questions about our parish life and be present to them through listening and prayer.

	Sue Anderson I feel blessed to be a part of the Outreach Ministry here at our parish.  I enjoy reaching out to our new parishioners who have recently become a part of our parish family.  I like having the opportunity to share the good news of our vibrant, active church.  We are truly a community.  Welcome to all!
	Philomena Cellili My name is Philomena. I am most grateful to have been chosen to become a member in the Mary Mother of God Parish Welcome Ministry. Pleased to partner with parishioners as we continue together, our spiritual journey in our Catholic faith. My hope is to listen and discover some of the personal desires in their spiritual faith journey and parish life. Also, sharing with them how Mary Mother Of God parish family, through it's people and many ministries has helped me continue my spiritual journey.
	Christine Folsom-Kovarik As a member of the Welcome Ministry I am looking forward to reaching out to members of our parish family, finding out how they are doing and discovering some of the creative ways they are handling these unique times.
	Zoe Hoh I am blessed to be a part of The Welcome Ministry at Mary Mother of God. As a member of this ministry I have the pleasure of extending a warm welcome to all who enter our doors. I have been a member of Mary Mother of God since the spring of 2016 when I moved to Hillsborough.  I love the sense of community I feel here and the numerous events that we hold from Blood Drives, to the Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt, and Comedy Night to name a few. We work hard to give back and to have fun doing it. Please do not hesitate to approach me with any questions you may have, or if you just need a friendly chat. I look forward to meeting and welcoming you all!
	Regina Neri The Outreach/Welcome Ministry gives me an opportunity to talk to parishioners to see what they need from the parish and give them a sense of belonging. There are so many ministries and ways that people can get involved and share their gifts and talents with others. I’m involved in several ministries at MMOG and have met so many wonderful people who imitate attitudes, behaviors and actions of Christ. I look forward to making others feel welcome, listening to their concerns, helping them in their spiritually needs and encourage them to grow and live according to the good life of the Gospel.
	Yvonne Shimshock Over 10 years ago, I went through the RCIA Program at Mary, Mother of God Church.  The program was truly transformative!  Not only did I experience the joy of First Holy Communion and Confirmation, but I also formed strong bonds with the RCIA team leaders and my fellow catechumens & candidates.  During the initiation process, the entire parish community was rooting for us.  I cannot fully describe the sense of peace and love that I feel when I am at MMOG.  I hope to be able to share this feeling with others, too, and look forward to meeting you!
	Steve Shimshock My family have been parishioners at Mary Mother of God Church for nearly 20 years.  We have been blessed to interact with many kind, faithful, and joyful parish friends. In my personal faith journey, I enjoy my involvement with the Men’s Group, Bible Study, Eucharistic Ministers, Eucharistic Adoration, and Parishioner Engagement Ministry.  I hope to emulate the holiness of my fellow parishioners, to increase grace and joy in my life.  I pray that I may continue to grow as a faithful disciple of Christ, and become the best husband, father, son, and neighbor I can.  My goal, with God’s grace, is to lead my family, neighbors, and myself to heaven.  I look forward to meeting and interacting with you.
