Fr. John was born and raised here in New Brunswick, New Jersey and was a long time member of St. Peter the Apostle Church in New Brunswick, where he attended St. Peter Grammar School; first through eighth and taught by the Sisters of Charity. He was taught by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen. After completion of High School, attended the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania and taught by the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits). Following completion of his degree in communications, he discerned being a priest. He's been a priest of Jesus Christ in the Diocese of Metuchen for the past 14 years. After being ordained by Bishop Paul Bootkoski on May 29, 2004, was assigned to St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge as Parochial Vicar from 2004-2006. Then Bishop Paul Bootkoski asked him to study Canon Law in Rome at the Pontifical Gregorian University from 2006-2009. Following his completion of Canon Law studies, he then was assigned to serve at Immaculate Conception Church in Spotswood as Parochial Vicar in 2009-2011. In 2011, he was asked to be the Vice-Rector/Dean of Men of the College of Liberal Arts at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio and served there until June 30, 2017. At that time, Bishop James Checchio asked him to be Administrator of the Catholic Church of St. Ann in Raritan for one year.
