Parish Life
Mary, Mother of God is a very vibrant parish with many opportunities to meet fellow parishioners through the Circle of Friends, Rosary Altar Society, CYO Basketball and Men's, Women's & Youth Groups, Coffee Socials, Social Events, Parish Trips, Parish Missions & Retreats and the New Evangelization. The topics of discussion at the Men's, Women's and Youth groups, as well as at the Parish Missions, Retreats and through the New Evangelization also help us group spiritually.
We have many social concerns ministries to help those in need. Try Adopt-A-Senior, give to the Baby Shower & Diaper Drive and the Food Pantry, participate in the Blood Drive, leading up to Christmas we have the Giving Tree, the Interfaith Hospitality Network occurs twice a year where we host some families for one week each time and offers many opportunities to assist those in need. Bereavement Support helps those dealing with the loss of a loved one. Respect Life raises awareness in our parish on various life issues and the St. Vincent de Paul Society assists families in need and mans the SVDP New Brunswick Food Pantry on the 1st Saturday of the month.
