The Pastoral Council is the primary consultative body to the Pastor of our Parish. Through the consultative process members of the Parish laity bring their collective knowledge and wisdom into discernment of issues impacting the pastoral life of the Parish. Through ongoing planning the council advises the pastor on how to advance the mission of the Parish.
There are approximately 20 members of the council who meet each month from September to June. Members represent the broad spectrum of ministries and interests that make up Mary, Mother of God Parish. New members are selected through a discernment process by the Pastor in consultation with current members.
