Sacred Relics of the Saints: Treasures of the Church Thank you for all who came...
On October 19th, Mary, Mother of God Church hosted the Treasures of the Church, where over 150 relics were displayed, some as old as 2,000 years. Among the treasures were relics of St. Joseph, St. Maria Goretti, St. Therese of Lisieux (the “Little Flower”), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Faustina Kowalska and the Apostles. There were also a fragment of the Veil that belonged to Our Lady and some of the largest remaining pieces of the Wood of the True Cross in the world. For those interested, you may click here to see a complete list of relics that were displayed, or better yet, click here to see information cards for each relic. This presentation was led by Fr. Carlos Martins of the Companions of the Cross. View the schedule to see where future presentations will take place.
