What is the Lazarus Ministry?

The Lazarus Ministry is our parish outreach to those in the church community who have lost a loved one through death. Members of this ministry assist the family of the deceased in making arrangements by explaining the Rite of Christian Burial. Lazarus Ministers hope to unite our parish family so that together we care for those dealing with the death of a loved one. A special memorial to recently deceased loved ones is planned for All Souls Day liturgy each November. Follow-up support is provided so that the bereaved know that they do not grieve alone.
