At Mary, Mother of God, we offer programs to prepare both children and adults for the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation, as well as programs to help everyone grow in their faith.
Adult Confirmation prepares adult Catholics who have already received the Sacraments of Baptism and First Holy Eucharist and are seeking to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. For information on this program refer to the Adult Confirmation page.
Anyone over the age of seven, wishing to come into full communion with the Catholic Church must receive the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, First Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. RCIA is a faith journey that includes Bible study, faith sharing, experiencing community, and learning about the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church all leading up to the reception of Sacraments at the Easter Vigil. The Children's Religious Education program is a guided faith formation program that includes bible study, sacramental preparation and study of the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church. The program runs from 1st grade through 8th grade with 2nd grade being the year that children receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, and 8th grade being the year that children receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Mary, Mother of God offers preschool, pre-k and kindergarten enrichment programs that help children develop a better understanding of God’s creation and His love for us while also developing skills required for entry into elementary grades. There is a Bible Study program for Adults and a summer Vacation Bible School for children.
