Eucharistic Adoration takes place in the Chapel from 9:00 AM on Friday until 10:00 AM on Sunday with the exceptions noted below. When you arrive, you should let the person currently in Adoration know that you have arrived. When your hour is up, if the person after has not arrived, you must wait for them. Jesus may not be left alone. If time is a concern, please contact the Adoration Coordinator or the Parish Office.
If you would like to sign up as a permanent Adorer for one of the open hours or any other hour that works for you, or to be a substitute Adorer, use this form:
The Eucharist is the source and summit of our lives as Roman Catholics. Jesus Christ is truly present in the Eucharist - Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. Members of this ministry set aside an hour each weekend to come before the Living Presence of Christ in the Eucharist to pray, worship, praise and adore Him. Individuals do this in order to nourish their souls, strengthen themselves in their daily lives, grow in faith and abide with Him in love. It is a foretaste of heaven, where we will live with Christ forever.
Most of all, we answer Christ's invitation to all of us:
"Can you not watch and wait with Me for one hour?" Matthew 26:40
All parishioners are invited to visit Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament in the Mary, Mother of God Chapel every weekend. Whether you can spend ten minutes, 30 minutes or an hour, you will delight the Lord and satisfy your need for prayerful conversation with Him.
