Bible Study

Bible Study

The Bible Study program provides adults of our parish family with interpretation, understanding and insight concerning the Bible and other areas of our Catholic faith, such as Church History, Tradition, etc. The program has sponsored sessions on the formation of Holy Scripture, as well as studies on specific books of the Bible. The group has also provided an in-depth study of Church history, one century at a time.

Sessions are held on assigned days and evenings for 90-minute periods. Dates and times are advertised prior to the beginning of each topic of study. Nominal course fees cover the cost of class materials.

We strongly encourage all parishioners to join this continuing study of our Catholic Faith.

“Jesus said to them, 'Is not this why you are wrong, that you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God?'” Mark 12:24

 Bible 17

Adult Bible Study Sept 2017
In MMOG’s latest Bible Study, A Scriptural Study of Angels, a 25-lesson, two semester study, we're going to meet some of the angels and demons featured in the Bible as distinct spiritual persons, with names and identities. We'll treat them like real people we would actually meet in our lives, because that's how they're portrayed in the Bible. Who are they? What do they do? And what do their names teach us about who they are?
Come join us: Classes start September 26th; held each Tuesday at 9:00 AM and 7:30 PM (your choice) for 1½ hr. Features video, text book and discussion. Cost $50. Registration after weekend Masses on September 16 & 17, 23 & 24.
